Supporting the Future of Young Talents, BRIDS Gives BBRI Shares to the U-20 National Team
Various forms of support for young Indonesian football talents are not only aimed at achieving achievements on the world stage. However, it is also necessary to give rewards in the form of guarantees of prosperity and career certainty in the future.
PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, as a bank that has been concerned with the development of young Indonesian talent, including the achievements of the National Team, also pays attention to this. Through one of its subsidiary companies, namely BRI Danareksa Sekuritas (BRIDS), in collaboration with PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) and collaborating with the Indonesian Football Service Foundation to organize the Capital Markets School (SPM) program for the U-20 National Team.
It doesn't stop there, this collaboration also provides investment support to 34 U-20 National Team participants in the form of BRI or BBRI shares. BRI Consumer Business Director Handayani said this support was aimed at improving and ensuring the welfare of former national team players, as well as supporting the career path preparation of young Indonesian talents.
"BRI always prepares strategies to strengthen financial management education including shares for the public, one of which targets young people, starting from academics, students, including athletes," he said.
The symbolic process of giving shares took place in the Main Hall of the BEI Building on February 2, 2023, attended by BEI Development Director Jeffrey Hendrik and BRIDS Retail & Information Technology Director Fifi Virgantria. This activity was also held to increase literacy and awareness of investment and capital markets in Indonesia.
By giving BBRI shares, it is projected that the U-20 National Team players will be able to reap large profits in the future. This is illustrated by the brilliant achievement of BBRI shares at the beginning of the year when they were parked in the green zone. Even at the close of trading Friday (12/1), BBRI again touched its highest level in history at IDR 5,850.
On the other hand, observers believe BBRI shares will continue to soar in line with the possibility of easing monetary policy from the central bank. This is also in line with the potential decline in bond yields which will encourage inflows to the JCI in Indonesia.
This achievement is also following Investasiku's previous recommendation, where BBRI's movement today is recommended to "buy" or buy with a target price at the level of IDR 5,700.-. This analysis reveals that BBRI is forming a Bullish Engulfing candle with the potential to strengthen to the 161.8 Fibonacci harmonic resistance area.
BRIDS believes that this investment education and share distribution program can support investment among the younger generation and various professions, including athletes and football fans. "We hope that by investing in the U-20 National Team, which is gathered from various cities in Indonesia, it can become an example or role model for young people from where they come from, especially football fans, to start investing and planning their finances in the future. coming. "In the future, BRIDS will also continue to present educational and literacy programs and activities in collaboration with various institutions and figures, to increase financial literacy and investment in the Indonesian capital market," concluded Fifi.
Meanwhile, BRIDS President Director Laksono Widodo added that the program is expected to contribute to the performance of the Company's securities trading intermediary business, especially in terms of increasing the number of Company customers. "By holding this activity, it is hoped that it can contribute to supporting the achievement of the Company's target of reaching 1 million BBRI share investors, as well as the Company's retail customer growth target this year of 30% of the number of customers in 2023," concluded Laksono.
