Jakarta, 18 September 2023 – BRI Danareksa Sekuritas (“BRIDS”), a subsidiary of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (IDX: BBRI) and the associated entity PT Danareksa (Persero), receives a prestigious international award, this time the Company is named as the Best Investment Bank in Indonesia award from Alpha Southeast Asia at the 17th Annual Best Financial Institutions Awards 2023, which BRIDS has consistently won for six consecutive years since 2018.

According to Alpha Southeast Asia, BRIDS succeeded in winning this award thanks to the satisfactory performance of the Company's Investment Banking business line, as well as providing good financial advisory and underwriting services throughout 2022 to 2023.

BRIDS President Director Laksono Widodo appreciated the award given by Alpha Southeast Asia. According to him, this award is proof of the Company's commitment to providing the best Investment Banking services to corporate clients, in managing and achieving financial goals in the capital market.

Laksono also revealed that this award was achieved thanks to the Company's good performance in 2022, where BRIDS managed to achieve revenue of IDR 347.5 billion, supported by the achievements of all of the Company's business lines.

"As a pioneer provider of Investment Banking services in Indonesia, the Company also actively contributes to supporting various companies in carrying out their corporate actions. "Last year, BRIDS succeeded in underwriting dozens of stock and bond issuances with total issuance reaching IDR 80 trillion, as well as supporting state-owned and private companies in completing various strategic projects as lead financial advisory with a total transaction value of more than IDR 100 trillion," said Laksono.

Until July 2023, BRIDS recorded revenue of IDR 152 billion, which was supported by the performance of all the Company's business lines such as brokerage which contributed 51% or IDR 79 billion, advisory 29% or IDR 45 billion, underwriting 10% or IDR 18 billion, and other business lines of 10% or IDR 10 billion. Apart from that, as reported by the Indonesian Stock Exchange, the Company also occupies the top position in government and cooperative bond trading intermediaries, successfully achieving a market share of 1.61% for government bonds and 6.44% for corporate bonds.
