#BRIDSDealStory: BRIDS Assists Mitratel Acquire Indosat (IOH) Tower

BRI Danareksa Sekuritas (“BRIDS”) acts as a financial advisor in the successful sale and leaseback transaction of 997 towers owned by Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH) by PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk (Mitratel), a subsidiary of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia ( Persero) Tbk (Telkom).

The transaction between Mitratel and IOH which is projected to be completed in the first quarter of 2023 is expected to strengthen Mitratel's position as the largest independent and trusted telecommunications tower owner in Southeast Asia with more than 36,000 towers.

In this transaction, BRIDS Investment Banking Advisory team played an important role in assisting Mitratel throughout the competitive bidding process and succeeded in sealing an agreement worth IDR 1.64 trillion.
