BRIDS Involves Employees to Improve Tourism Industry and Environmental Conservation in Bandung Download

Bandung, July 29, 2024 – Coinciding with the Company's 32nd Anniversary celebration, BRI Danareksa Sekuritas (BRIDS) invited hundreds of Company Employees from all over Indonesia to support the improvement of the tourism industry and support environmental preservation in Bandung through a series of BRIDS Improvement Forum activities held in Bandung, West Java.

In this activity, BRIDS held a team building activity attended by all BRIDS Employees throughout Indonesia with the aim of improving communication, collaboration and teamwork between Employees and with Company Management.

The Company also involved Employees in a series of activities to support the improvement of the tourism industry in Bandung, starting from using the Jakarta-Bandung WHOOSH Fast Train transportation and local bus providers as transportation options, the Grand Mercure Setiabudi hotel as a place to stay, participating in outbound and offroad activities in the Orchid Forest Cikole tourist area, enjoying Sundanese specialties at the Asep Stroberi and Sindang Reret restaurants, and buying Bandung souvenirs at Bandung Kunafe Pasteur.

To support environmental preservation, BRIDS also collaborates with community groups that are members of the Panggelar Ngertakeun Bumi Lamba (PNBL) association through the Samida Forest Ecosystem development program located in the Cimenyan area, Bandung, West Java.

BRIDS contributes starting from providing various types of tree seedlings, making green houses, including the forest irrigation system needed by the ecosystem. In the future, Samida Forest is expected to become an ecosystem that has a good impact on environmental preservation, one of which is as an effort to prevent natural disasters such as the mud flood that occurred in Bandung, as well as having a positive impact on improving the economy of the surrounding community.

In his written statement, BRIDS President Director Laksono Widodo said that this series was initiated as a form of support and contribution from the Company to tourism industry activists and community groups in Bandung.

"From this series of events, we hope that in addition to improving teamwork and collaboration between employees, this event can raise and increase employee awareness and concern for the tourism industry and environmental preservation, and of course, more or less can contribute to improving the tourism industry and the community's economy, as well as environmental preservation in Bandung," explained Laksono.

Through the corporate social responsibility (CSR) program “BRIDS Peduli”, the Company is committed to continuously contributing to the development and involvement of the community and environmental preservation through impactful and sustainable activities, collaborating with communities, organizations and community groups to provide added value for the Company's stakeholders.
