This event is one of a series of Capital Market Summit & Expo (CMSE) events organized by the Financial Services Authority (OJK), Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), Indonesian Central Securities Depository (KSEI) and Indonesian Securities Clearing and Guarantee Corporation (ID Clear) with the aim of providing and increasing Company awareness about going public, in order to support business development through the capital market and as a forum for education on the preparation process for Initial Public Offerings (IPO) and other securities publications from various aspects.

In addition, this talk show can also provide insight and preparation to prospective companies that are preparing for an IPO regarding the company's IPO process and preparation, starting from how to choose securities, determining stock prices, getting the right momentum when conducting an IPO to how to face previous market challenges.

In his presentation as one of the speakers, Director of Investment Banking Capital Market BRIDS, Kevin Praharyawan explained that an IPO is very important for companies to obtain fresh funding from investors, increase information transparency, and facilitate access to further funding. In addition, there are several requirements that must be met by a company before conducting an IPO, such as transparent financial reports, complete legality, and mature long-term planning.

"The capital market offers unlimited possibilities or unlimited opportunities for companies that want to obtain fresh funds from investors in the community. By being involved in the capital market, companies can not only obtain funds for business expansion or development, but can also increase the company's profile in the public eye, open up opportunities for strategic cooperation, and expand investor networks. In addition, companies listed on the stock exchange have wider access to various financial instruments and can take advantage of various opportunities to grow and develop, which previously might have been difficult to reach through conventional financing. The presence in the capital market also provides an opportunity for companies to strengthen their credibility and liquidity, allowing them to face challenges and achieve new business opportunities at the global level,” Kevin explained.

Kevin also added that another goal of the IPO is succession, which refers to the process of distributing wealth that has been accumulated through the development of the company's business so far. Through the IPO, the long term or long-term desires of the company can be better maintained. As a company that has gone public, the company must be committed to maintaining transparency, good corporate governance, and meeting greater market expectations.

“The preparation process for the IPO is also very important, where the company must take various steps with thorough preparation, such as improving financial reports, strengthening the management team, and choosing competent securities or underwriters. Choosing the right securities will ensure that the company can go through the IPO process smoothly and obtain optimal results.” concluded Kevin According to IDX data as of September 2024, BRIDS is listed as one of the most active executive underwriters in Indonesia, occupying the third position in the bond underwriting league table with a market share of 11.7% and occupying the top 10 positions for the securities underwriting league table with a market share of 6.8%.

In his written statement, Kevin added, "Through participation in this Go Public education activity, and proven by the Company's commitment to continue to actively support the Company to Go Public, it certainly further strengthens the Company's position as one of the leading underwriters in the Indonesian Capital Market, concluded Kevin.
