BRI Danareksa Provides Scholarships to Outstanding Students Download

Jakarta, 17 November 2023 – BRI Danareksa Sekuritas (“BRIDS”) through the BRIDS Peduli Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program in collaboration with the Karya Salemba Empat Foundation (KSE) provides scholarships of around IDR 145 million to 15 outstanding State University (PTN) students with disabilities economy in several cities throughout Indonesia.

BRIDS President Director Laksono Widodo said that the Company always plays an active role in giving meaning to Indonesia, one of which is by providing opportunities for the younger generation to obtain the highest possible education, in order to become Indonesia's leaders in the future.

“Congratulations to the 15 students who were selected. We believe that education is the biggest investment to improve human resources and also support national development. Through this program, we hope to create the nation's children with achievements and excellence, who can have a positive influence on Indonesia's progress. "This program is also the Company's commitment to supporting the implementation of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles promoted by the Government, to achieve sustainable development," said Laksono.

Executive Chairman of the KSE Foundation Marsangap P. Tamba said that support from BRIDS has contributed to the total scholarships given by KSE in the 2023 – 2024 academic year to 1777 students, and hopes to be able to provide scholarships to up to 10 thousand students in the future.

"BRIDS's contribution as a donor plays a big role in giving student recipients hope in preparing themselves for the future. We would like to express our gratitude for the synergy established with BRIDS in supporting the continuation of the studies of outstanding students who are experiencing economic difficulties. "We hope that BRIDS will always work together with us, to realize our shared vision to make the nation's life smarter," concluded Marsangap.

Student at the Faculty of Economics & Business, Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN) Jakarta, Rahma Dwi Prastika, as one of the BRIDS Peduli program scholarship recipients, said, "Thank you to BRIDS for choosing me as one of the scholarship recipients. "I got a lot of benefits from this scholarship, such as paying for my daily needs, gaining various experiences from activities organized by the Foundation, and gaining contacts from various universities throughout the archipelago."
